We will build upon our focus from last week, seeing the field, and our action of knowing when to dribble and when to pass.

We will now focus on looking up when we’re dribbling the ball and calling out our teammates name when we pass them the ball.

This will accomplish two things: One, the girl with the ball will have to look up and see where her teammates are before she decides to pass the ball. This will aid in seeing the field and spaces in between the defense. Two, her teammates off the ball will be aware a second or two before the ball gets to them that they’re receiving the ball. This will help with knowing that the pass is supposed to go to them and to be ready for it. 

We’ll also include dribbling skills this week as our warmups.
