Calming Resources

This is outside my usual topic range for these letters. I feel called to share some practices and resources that may help you stay calm during these wild times. As most of you know, my other “job” is as a yoga and meditation facilitator. I’m a big believer in practicing ways to direct and concentrate the mind. Here’s three of them I like a lot. All of them are under 10 minutes long:

Sam Harris - Meditation - If you enjoy this, you may check out his Waking Up app

Tara Brach Smile Guided Meditation - This meditation was recommended to me by Tim Ferriss through his book, “Tools of Titans". I enjoy it as her voice is smooth and calming and she reminds us of how a smile can make us feel good and be more positive. 

Headspace - 1 minute meditation - For a small pause during the day. This is a little more than one minute long. 

Short one today. Getting ready for the boys tonight. Enjoy the rest of your day. Be safe. Stay healthy.
